Reviews and ratings
The Immortal Mayor is a beautiful and well-thought-out city-building game. Chinese culture is portrayed very well and in a simplified form. Wrong decisions are punished quite quickly, and you lose the game accordingly. However, the game becomes easier over time as you understand how to build, to what extent, and how to keep the population happy in the long term. In my opinion, The Immortals' interface needs some improvement. The design and graphics are all very lovingly crafted and deserve significantly more attention. I definitely recommend it!
The Immortal Mayor ist ein wunderschönes und durchdachtes Städteaufbauspiel. Die chinesische Kultur wird hier sehr gut und in vereinfachter Form wiedergegeben. Falsche Entscheidungen werden ziemlich schnell bestraft und man verliert das Game entsprechend. Das Spiel wird jedoch im Laufe der Zeit einfacher, wenn man versteht, in wie fern, was man bauen muss und wie man die Population nachhaltig glücklich macht. Die Interface der Unsterblichen ist meiner Meinung nach optimierungsbedürftig. Von Design und Grafik ist alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet und verdient deutlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit. Ich empfehle es auf jeden Fall weiter!
