The new VR modification allows players to step into the shoes of the famous witcher.

Author Patryk Loan explained that currently, the mod only lets players explore Kaer Morhen, but the modder has big plans for adding content, including new levels and story missions. The mod currently supports Oculus, HTC, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

A short trailer showcases the mountain fortress of the witchers, as well as the ability to control Geralt's hands and move around. It becomes clear that the prototype VR version of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is in the early stages of development, but for fans of the series, this could be good news — in the future, if the modders don't abandon this idea, the game could evolve into something more substantial.

INSTALLATION:

- Run Install.bat and follow the instructions

Автор Patryk Loan объяснил, что сейчас мод позволяет только пройтись по Каэр Морхену, но у моддера большие планы по добавлению контента: как новых уровней, так и сюжетных заданий. Сейчас мод поддерживает шлемы Oculus, HTC, and Windows Mixed Reality.

Становится ясно, что прототип VR-версии The Witcher: Enhanced Edition находится на раннем этапе разработки, но для поклонников серии это может стать приятной новостью — в будущем, если моддеры не бросят эту идею, игра может разрастись до чего-то более толкового.
