The updated version of Total War: Pharaoh brings many new features to the campaign, including new map regions, cultures, units, gameplay mechanics, and significant quality of life improvements.

The strategy events unfold in Ancient Egypt during the New Kingdom period. The reign of the great Pharaoh Merneptah is coming to an end. Now a new leader is trying to expand the empire and destroy the opponents. The game features eight faction rulers with unique skills, a weather system with heavy rains and sandstorms affecting gameplay, and a fire mechanic that will spread across the battlefield, burning forests and damaging settlements.
