This railway simulator lets players drive trains, operate a railroad, and build custom routes. Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 features interactive sessions and more than 130 drivable locomotives, with realistic and simplified controls as well as an AI-driver mode.
Players can issue commands to AI drivers to manage multiple trains, edit existing routes, or create new ones. The track profiler displays speed limits, gradients, and signals, while the Driver Control Centre provides an overview of drivers and allows their commands to be changed during a session. Route-building tools help place vegetation and other scenery, and Depot mode provides a way to browse rolling stock.
