A top-down action shooter based on the film True Lies, it follows secret agent Harry Tasker as he tries to stop terrorists led by Salim Abu Aziz. Their alliance threatens a nuclear strike unless the US government withdraws its troops from the Persian Gulf.
At the start of each stage, Harry receives an assignment and must complete a series of objectives while fighting through enemies to reach the goal and face a boss. He begins with a pistol that has unlimited ammunition and can find additional firearms, grenades, and anti-personnel mines; ammunition for these weapons is limited and must be replenished. Civilians are present during shootouts, and killing three in a stage forces a restart at the cost of a life. The number of lives is limited.
