This first-person science-fiction shooter follows Earth’s war against an insect-like alien race that launches a surprise attack and devastates the planet. The player is a pilot in an elite fighter corps, assigned to the experimental XF5700 Mantis to face the alien threat and defend humanity.
Combat takes place in space, with the fighter equipped with Mass Driver cannons and missiles. Its flight and movement are modeled on Newtonian physics, while computer-generated imagery and full-motion video sequences accompany the missions and advance the story.
