GSC Game World continues to improve the remasters of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. The games received their second patch (1.0.2) on May 26th.
Here are the patch details:
- Fixed various NPC appearance issues;
- Fixed an issue preventing players from binding custom buttons for the mouse;
- Implemented the first round of fixes for issues that caused image blurriness;
- Fixed several rendering-related issues with SSGI (Screen Space Global Illumination) that caused visual distortion and blurriness.
According to the developers, to ensure the changes take effect, players should lower the graphics settings to Medium and then raise them to Maximum. After that, the game should be restarted.
Previously, the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. remasters were tested on 30 NVIDIA and AMD video cards, including the RTX 3060, RTX 3080, RTX 4070, RTX 4080, RTX 5070, and RTX 5090.
