Publisher Nacon and developer Rogue Factor have announced a short delay for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of their dark action-adventure game, Hell is Us. Originally slated to drop on October 8, the game will now arrive on the next-gen platform on October 27, 2026.
The team attributed this latest setback to logistics and distribution issues that are completely out of the developers' hands. However, they made it a point to emphasize that the delay is purely administrative; the game runs flawlessly, and everything is good to go on the technical front.
To keep things fair, the game's first major content update will also launch on October 27 across all other platforms, where the title has been available since September 2025. The developers intentionally pushed back the patch to ensure the entire community gets to experience the new content together.
Hell is Us is set in a fictional Eastern European nation cut off from the rest of the world by a brutal, ongoing civil war. Players step into the shoes of Remi, a peacekeeper who fled his homeland as a child and has now returned to find his parents. Instead of a normal warzone, he discovers a country ravaged by a mysterious cataclysm: spatial anomalies have torn through the land, spawning terrifying, faceless monsters that are completely immune to conventional weaponry.
