In role-playing action games like Skyrim, stolen items cannot be sold to regular merchants. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is no exception — players cannot easily get rid of dishonestly acquired items. But is it even possible to sell stolen goods in this game? You will find all the details in our guide.
The simplest, although quite lengthy method, is to place stolen items in the protagonist's personal chest and wait for some time. Over time, the residents will forget about their losses, and the red marker on the items will disappear. Usually, this takes a few in-game weeks.
If you don’t have a personal bed and chest yet, it is advisable to go to a tavern and rent a place for a long-term stay, which will come with a personal chest.
The main advantage of chests is that items synchronize between all chests at each bed. If you don’t know how to get your own bed yet, check out our guide.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, besides regular merchants, there are special traders who will gladly purchase unlawfully obtained items. However, the price for such items will differ slightly. Additionally, fences do not have an infinite supply of money. They usually have around 200 coins available. After a successful transaction, you can return later when their funds are replenished.
Speech is a highly valuable skill in KCD2, as it allows you to gain trading bonuses, acquire a free horse, and even sell stolen items to regular traders. To do this, you need to raise the skill level to 20 and acquire the skills “Hustler” and “Partner in Crime”.
To quickly level up speech, actively engage in conversations with passersby and successfully pass skill checks. Of course, reaching level 20 in an hour of real time is not possible, so this method will be useful in the later stages of the game. In the early stages, you can use the two previous methods described above.
