Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Laboratores Walkthrough

In the main quest Laboratores, the protagonists of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 face a tough challenge: they’ve lost all their formal clothing and an important letter meant for Lord Bergov. To help you overcome this obstacle, we’ve prepared a detailed walkthrough, including all key steps, side tasks, and handy tips.

Watch the introductory cutscene to learn how the heroes found themselves at the city's doorstep. A little later, the friends sit in a tavern discussing the events that transpired. To gain reputation points, choose the following responses:

Spotting the girl you saw by the lake, first apologize, then head to the trough and wash your face. When the lady finishes the dialogue, interact with her. The girl will be evasive and say she doesn't remember the hero. You can also attempt a persuasion check, but you will most likely fail it.

As soon as she leaves, the innkeeper will approach Henry and demand payment for the food. Since the vagabonds have no money, they will have to do a small job. Reply "Always ready" to increase your reputation. Then agree unconditionally twice more to gain more reputation.

Return to the lord and tell him about the wedding that will take place any day now. You must attend it, as Lord Bergov will be present. In the dialogue, choose the options "I'll do it myself" and "I'll carry the sacks myself" to increase your reputation. If you try to persuade the lord to do physical labor, you will decrease this value.

Next to the inn is a cart with sacks. Grab a sack and carry it to the storeroom on the first floor of the building. When you have delivered three sacks, a cutscene with the lord and strangers will start. During the confrontation, choose "Do not insult our fallen comrades" and "Apologize to Lord Ptacek!". You will gain a bit more reputation, but a fight will ensue.

Three fighters will confront Henry at once, so it's best to retreat and always fight one enemy at a time. When you defeat two of the three, guards will appear, and a cutscene will start, concluding the quest.
