Assassin's Creed Shadows: Wake Up Call Walkthrough

"Wake Up Call" is the seventh main mission in Assassin's Creed Shadows. It will start during the previous one. If you encounter difficulties while completing this quest, be sure to check out this guide.

Approach Nagato, but be cautious — he attacks very quickly. Prompts will appear on the screen, but you will have only half a second to dodge. It will be easier for you to do this if you immediately run to the bokken and press the button to roll towards it. Then press another button to pick up the weapon.

Get closer to Nagato, then hold the attack button until your weapon starts to glow, and release to break his block. Repeat this four times.

The parry prompt is displayed longer than in the previous stage of the mission. When it appears, press the corresponding button to parry the attack. Repeat this four times.

Use the skills you have acquired to defeat Nagato in the duel. In this fight, you don't take damage, so losing is impossible. Perform several attacks, after which a cutscene will begin.

Move west along the path with Nagato. To make it easier, hold the button, after which the heroine will automatically follow the character. When Nagato leaves, move southwest across the wooden bridge and continue following the path.

Soon it will ascend the hill and lead you to a house. Approach Matsu and talk to her. After the conversation, move forward along the path from Matsu's house. When you see a broken tree, climb on it and jump across the gap. Then jump onto the second tree and move along the branches to the north until you reach the tower.

Jump onto the bamboo canopy, then climb the tower. Step out onto the ledge to see the disturbance below. Jump forward to land in the haystack. Approach the fallen deer and examine it.

Head northwest along the path into the forest. The road will soon turn south, leading you to a poachers' camp by the fire. Here, a dialogue choice will appear:

Regardless of the choice, you will still have to fight the poachers. Use the skills acquired in training with Nagato and deal with the enemies. Defeating just one of them is enough to end the fight.

After the cutscene, follow the path in front of you upwards. At the T-junction, turn right to climb higher up the mountain. This will lead you back to the tower from which you recently jumped. Jump across the gap in the fence, then cross two more gaps to return to Matsu's house. Open the door and sit inside. A dialogue will begin here:

Later, Nagato appears, and another dialogue ensues:

When you wake up, a strange man named Sorin appears. Dialogue:

The choice does not matter.

Then a boy named Jūnjirō speaks to you, offering another choice:

After this, Sorin wants to talk again:

The choice also does not affect the plot.

After this scene, the mission returns to "An Unpayable Debt," and "Wake Up Call" is completed.
