Stalker 2: Happiness for Everyone Walkthrough

In the quest Happiness for Everyone in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, you will be able to install an upgrade and contact "Iskra." Now Skif is able to fight Faust on equal terms, it's time to return to Duga. This guide describes the walkthrough of the mission.

How to reach the meeting point

You will have a long trek to Duga. If you have enough money, stock up on ammo and repair your equipment. You will likely pass by Duga and the place where you fought Faust. Be careful and save often, as the developers cleverly limit your route — if you turn to the base, you will immediately die from a sniper shot.

When you reach the point, Star will contact Skif. You will have to fend off Monolith soldiers. As soon as you finish, Star will call you into the building. Go up to the second floor and talk to him. He will suggest starting the battle and listening to his plan. Agree.

How to go through the sewer

Star's plan is to go through the sewer, bypassing most of the Monolith patrols. Exit the building and immediately descend through the hatch. Move through the tunnel, pass the anomaly with floating shards. At the crossroads, turn left. Kill the tushkans, then proceed to the room with acid and zombies.

Eventually, you will find yourself in front of a hole in the floor, above which an anomaly hangs. Knock it down with a bolt and jump down. Snorks will immediately appear. Destroy all the mutants and go through the tunnel with wagons, then turn left. Climb up the boxes into the hole in the wall.

Note the swarm of rats on the left. They are behind a partition, but as soon as you descend into the room, they will run towards you. There is a window in the partition through which you can crawl to then immediately climb the ladder on the left. On the second floor, go to the radio room and contact Star.

How to infiltrate the "Duga" territory

Now you need to get to the surface. From the radio room, jump into the ventilation shaft, but the problem is that you will end up facing the swarm of rats again. If you don't have grenades, you'll have to carefully jump onto the box on the right near the exit. Upon exiting to the stairs, you will encounter a poltergeist that will start throwing things. Ignore it and reach the ladder up. There you will find yourself in another tunnel and can destroy the mutant.

Once on the surface, carefully proceed to the objective marker, avoiding fights. When you are in close proximity to the buildings, the mission will update.

How to switch the substation to maximum power

Your task is to turn off the "Duga." This can be done by rebooting three transformers at the substation. Find them by the objective markers. The first and closest one is in the house with a destroyed wall. Just find the transformer on the first floor and turn it on. The second is also on the first floor, but a little further. The third awaits on the second floor of the building. There will also be one Monolith soldier. After turning on the switch, go to the switch at the far end of the floor and press it. Now it's time to look for Faust.

How to get to the Comcenter

Star will warn Skif that there is a concentration of enemies on the Comcenter roof. That's where you need to go. Once you reach the building, go through the breach in the wall. In the first room, there are several corpses. In the second room on the left under the stairs, there's a Monolith totem — destroy it immediately. Clear the building and gradually move higher. Don't miss the table with the psi-blocker. Considering Faust's abilities, the medicine will be needed. When you reach the very top, you'll face a closed door. Behind it will be Faust, who will immediately use the controller's favorite trick and run away.

Chase Faust until you find yourself on the roof. This is the first serious boss fight. Faust will constantly summon his phantoms, which are actually standard Monolith soldiers. There are several beacons with psi-radiation in the area. Destroy them, and when the real Faust appears, pay attention to the beacon on his belt. Destroy it too, then defeating him will be easier. Watch the cutscene, after which Skif will come to his senses, and Scar will contact him. He is waiting for the hero at "Malachite."
