Just days after the massive 1.4 update, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has received another patch. The new update, version 1.4.1, fixes two critical bugs.
Here's the official patch note:
- Fixed a crash on booting the title with Simple Mod Loader mod installed;
- Fixed a crash on loading savefiles on title with installed mods (e.g. UETools).
Despite being a very small update, its download size is around 4 GB.
As for the 1.4 update, it brought over 700 changes to the game. The patch improved the behavior of mutants and NPCs, refined animations, increased the difficulty of melee combat on higher difficulty levels, fixed numerous bugs, and more. You can find more details about the update here.
It's also worth mentioning that the official remasters of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat will be released on PC and consoles on May 20th. Recently, a detailed comparison of the updated versions of the shooters with the original games surfaced online.
