At Gamescom 2026, producer Kazuhisa Wada said Persona 4 Revival is set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on February 18, 2027, but one of the remake's most talked-about possibilities is still off the table: Yosuke's cut romance route.
Wada's explanation was blunt: if Atlus restored Yosuke's route, the studio would feel obliged to add romance arcs for all the other male party members too. As he put it, "We were thinking if we did Yosuke, we kinda have to add all the other male characters as well. And if we did that, like that's a lot of work. I don't know if we could handle that." -

The option was considered, but Wada said restoring it would have created a much larger problem for the remake. -
