The first Touch on Mac Group Labs sessions for app developers are scheduled for November 18 and November 19, giving participants a chance to discuss touch support for Mac apps directly with Apple employees. Apple announced the two online sessions alongside three videos on touch interface design for Mac, adding touch support to apps, and adapting Live Activities for Mac.

The first online session is scheduled for November 18, from 9 to 10 a.m. Pacific time. The second will take place on November 19, from 6 to 7 p.m. Pacific time.

The materials explain how developers can adapt app interfaces for touch input. Apple says some apps may only need to support standard touch-handling mechanisms rather than undergo a major redesign.

Apple's developer page also lists the Xcode 27.3 beta for developers working on apps for Apple platforms.

Which question about developing touch-enabled Mac apps would you ask Apple employees during one of these sessions?
