Pight is a minimalist puzzle game inspired by the redstone mechanics from Minecraft (a mineable material capable of transmitting signals), but stripped of its excessive complexity and crafting. Each level is a small logic problem: you have to manipulate blocks using pistons and special tiles in order to ultimately light up a lamp. The Mindlabor studio is no newcomer to the genre: it previously released the puzzle games Quadrata, Lovux, and Netoo, each of which earned positive reviews on Steam. I decided to find out how the project is doing today and spent 30 hours in the game: completed several story arcs, got a ship, and managed to explore some of the islands — this was enough to understand what makes Lost Ark captivating right from the start.

Aion Classic launched in 2023 and was intended as a return to the original Aion. Since then, the game has gone through several updates, adding new classes, locations, and content. Today, when you first start playing it, the game makes a fairly good initial impression: it quickly unlocks the ability to fly, guides you along the main questline, provides equipment, and hardly wastes the player’s time on unnecessary running around. The first few hours deliver that familiar old-school MMORPG feeling: a target-based combat system, skill bars, text-based quests, faction division, and the atmosphere of a time when the genre hadn’t yet tried to resemble a single-player RPG with co-op elements.
