GTA 5

A legendary sequel to the popular Grand Theft Auto series. The game is set in Los Santos, a city beloved by fans since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. For the first time, the game tells the story of three characters at once: Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. You can switch between them at any time.

The open-world action of GTA 5 is the result of Rockstar’s work to improve the franchise. Everything fans love about Grand Theft Auto is bigger and better, but most importantly, the gameplay offers so many ways to have fun that it beats real life. The game uses a new graphics engine that brings its graphics and effects up to modern standards. It also features an interesting story, a separate PC version, and mod support.

GTA 5 takes place in an updated and improved version of the state of San Andreas, which first appeared in the game of the same name. It offers a full range of locations: parks, forests, farmland, desert outskirts, coastline, caves, lakes, and mountain hills. You can travel across the entire region, which is home not only to people but also to dangerous wild animals.

The same state is home to the huge metropolis of Los Santos, modeled on Los Angeles. It includes every type of city landscape: skyscrapers, high-rise buildings, business and shopping centers, industrial buildings, middle-class homes, poor housing blocks, and brothels.

You can travel through the game's vast world on foot, in more than a hundred cars and other wheeled vehicles, or in your own helicopter, plane, or yacht. You can also swim underwater and explore the ocean floor, which is just as detailed as the rest of the game world. Numerous Easter eggs and references encourage players to explore San Andreas.

1) Michael is a former bank robber who is forced back into crime because of family problems and debt. He suffers from alcoholism, ignores his past and present life, runs away from his problems, and tries to get his mind back on track with the help of a therapist;

2) Franklin is a petty criminal and car thief at the start of the game. Later, he becomes an ambitious Black gangster who rises through the criminal ranks and lives a life of luxury. He plays a key role in the game's ending;

3) Trevor: He trained to be a military pilot, but was expelled because of his unstable mental health. He used to rob banks with Michael, but went into hiding for a long time after a robbery went wrong. An anarchist, drug addict, and alcoholic, he likes to party hard, which often leaves him in strange places. He has many enemies to deal with during the game.

Each of the three has a detailed backstory, motivations, and goals in life. Although they are forced to work together, they team up to pull off daring heists without sharing the profits with other gangs or the police. You can switch between them at any time, which can be amusing because the characters go about their own lives.

The story is told in Rockstar's style: the characters visit seedy places, strip clubs, and gang hideouts, talk rudely and swear, and carefully plan their actions. There are plenty of heists, murders, and shootouts. The story avoids the usual blockbuster action-game formula with unexpected twists, wins and losses, chance events, and rivalries with other gangsters. The government and private military companies keep getting involved, confusing the heroes and making their lives much harder.

The relationships between the characters and their personal problems run through the story. As these issues unfold over time, the story reaches its climax, and the player decides which of the three will survive and which will die. Being able to switch between characters makes the game more immersive. Overall, it's hard to find a player who finishes GTA 5 and is unhappy with the story.

Alongside its main gameplay, GTA 5 offers plenty of ways to have fun in single-player mode. You can race sports cars around the city or monster trucks off-road, take wildlife photos, drive a taxi, eat mushrooms, dress in the latest fashions, pick up high-end or cheap prostitutes, cause trouble, wreck vehicles, play the stock market, buy up everything in sight, clean up after your dog, and much more.

The best way to enjoy single-player mode is to explore the world and walk around the neighborhoods. Anything can happen along the way, thanks to random events, unexpected decisions by NPCs, and the amusing physics of cars, gunfire, and explosions. Thousands of small objects in the game have their own physics, adding to the realism. Overall, everything is designed to quickly draw the player into the action.

GTA Online is GTA 5's multiplayer mode, featuring almost all the missions from single-player, as well as numerous wild competitions for 12–28 players. With the “Smuggler’s Run” update, GTA Online got its own “battle royale.” The multiplayer mode uses the same game world, graphics, and physics as GTA 5.

Players can create a male or female character who arrives in Los Santos with no fame or money. There are plenty of items available from the start to help you choose your character’s style, and even more content becomes available later, allowing you to make your character truly unique.

Technically, GTA Online takes place six months before the story of GTA 5, but there are a few inconsistencies. We recommend completing the campaign to get to know the supporting characters who will give you missions or do business with you in multiplayer. Little extras like tennis, golf, casino visits, and picking up women are still there.

Over time, you’ll be able to meet other players at your place or visit them to have fun and discuss your criminal plans. Once you reach a certain level, you can start your own gang. You’ll become the boss and can hire other players to protect you or complete other jobs. An organization is a game within a game, with its own missions and operations.

As in any online game, your goal in GTA Online is to level up: buy apartments and houses, cars and yachts, weapons and gear, and unlock all kinds of things like clothes, tattoos, and hairstyles. To do this, you’ll need to earn reputation points and money. You can earn reputation by killing enemies, winning competitive events against other players, completing missions, escaping the police, and more. Money is much harder to come by, though, since earning it takes a lot more effort.

You can make a little money by causing trouble: stealing and selling cars, robbing stores, and doing other petty crimes. And remember, you can be robbed too, so be careful. The real money comes from winning multiplayer events like deathmatches and races, taking part in operations, doing jobs for bosses, or getting a cut from players who work for you. Missions take place on land, in the air, and on water, and often involve weapons. Each multiplayer mode has its own features, so read the descriptions carefully.

Here are the main modes available as of early 2018:

· “Deathmatch”: a solo or team match where the winner is decided by points; traditional races and rallies (you drive while your co-driver tells you where to go);· “Capture” and “Hold Capture”: bring one or more valuable items to your base;· “Hold”: find or steal valuable items. Whoever has more when the match ends wins;· During a “Raid,” sneak or fight your way into the enemy base, capture a valuable item, and bring it back to your base. Then the teams switch sides;· In a “Heist,” plan and carry out a theft of valuable cargo with other players—or escape from prison.· Choose “Territory Takeover” and you’ll have to storm the opponents’ bases and eliminate them all, but they’ll put up serious resistance.· “Motor Wars” is an allusion to PUBG: up to four teams or 28 players are dropped onto a map. They must find a car and upgrade it with weapons and armor before taking out their rivals.

As players level up, earn more reputation points, and have enough money, they unlock more interesting, challenging, and large-scale missions.
