Backbone is a noir detective role-playing game in the spirit of Wolf Among Us, where all the characters are anthropomorphic animals. The game tells the story of private detective raccoon Howard Lotor, who practices in a grim Vancouver. Boring investigations are suddenly replaced by a case unlike any the hero has encountered before. In the process, he will have to visit the seediest corners of the city and confront the authorities.
