The best representative of its genre, D&D (in my personal opinion), is that other games in this genre can be counted on one hand, but they do exist. Baldur's Gate 3's main differences from other games are its superb graphics, the development of the world and quests, and, of course, the game's length and replayability.
P.S. Replayability is one of the most important aspects of games for me, especially at the plot level.
