The action unfolds in a dark underground bio-laboratory complex. The player takes on the role of Adam, a former special forces operative sent on a secret mission to find evidence of a government program related to an uncontrollable virus. As the simple data retrieval operation progresses, it turns into a dangerous investigation filled with alarming discoveries, psychological tension, and doubts about the true purpose of the mission.
The gameplay combines dynamic battles using firearms, melee combat, and evasions, a system of brutal finishers, fights with unique bosses, and limited resource management. Ammunition and healing supplies must be searched for and crafted by exploring the environment and planning survival wisely. As the game progresses, new weapons are unlocked, and the difficulty increases due to various enemies, traps, and puzzles.
One of the key features of the project is the main character, realized through an advanced AI system: Adam actively reacts to what is happening, comments on events, interacts with the player, and can partially break the "fourth wall," while his level of engagement can be adjusted. The game emphasizes atmosphere, an original plot, and visual immersion, while also experimenting with unconventional mechanics that combine elements of the virtual and real world to solve specific tasks.
