This World War II flight simulator centers on aerial combat over Europe. Players pilot 20 fighter aircraft from the United States, Britain, and Germany, defending England from German bombers, escorting B-17s on bombing missions, and fighting over France. The aircraft have authentic flight models and detailed cockpit renderings.
Missions can feature up to 256 planes in the air at once, with objectives including interception, escort, bombing targets, and engaging enemy aircraft. In the campaign, players improve their skills over time and take on greater responsibility for leading their squadron. The game also includes a newsreel feature with historical footage.
