Again, a joke, a conveyor belt, no creativity. I don’t understand why everyone considers it their duty to release only jokes, racing and melee combat in AAA, as if other mechanics cannot exist, and these actions are the ultimate dream. However, it’s not surprising - just as movies are filled with assembly-line plots with clichés, games work according to the same formula that bores everyone. Fortunately, there are indies with experiments. Viva la thrash. F*** moneyless bags of money that can only be taken with the quality bought for money. Indies are an industry, and AAA are just pass-through businessmen-analysts with money, without which they would not be interesting to anyone, unlike penniless indies.

-servers periodically crashed at the start (there are still glitches with rewards for hordes/escapes)

-periodic errors on Win7 (it seems to be solvable, with 10k itself) )

-impossibility to exclude a player’s afk in co-op mode (a bot is better than a full afk)

as a result, a good shooter, with more or less a plot. Overall I liked it (I haven’t finished the story yet, because the horde mode dragged on

One of the best parts in the series, interesting plot, excellent dynamics, smoothness and excellent graphics, beautiful landscapes.

I finished Gears 5, but the same feeling kept nagging at me: this isn't the game I'd spent years getting into.

They pushed Marcus aside, put Kait front and center, and for me, the series fizzled out. Not because the heroine was inherently "different." It's just that Gears was about this grumpy brute and his pack. Here, you're kind of in the same meat, with the same cover and swarms, but the main voice is alien. The campaign is decent, the battles are loud, and it's still fun to yell with friends. I just caught myself waiting for the old cast to come around the corner and the game to feel like itself again.

The fifth weights introduced new mechanics to the series. Fans will enjoy the campaign. I'll tell you right away. DO NOT START YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY WITH THE SERIES (with the plot at least) with this part. It doesn't hold a candle to the first trilogy. Complete the first part on PC. Otherwise, the game is great. Horde, Escape, Multiplayer and Ranked Matches ARE NOW! As a fan of the series, I liked the new mechanics. 8/10 only because of the not entirely successful campaign. The game is still supported. Fixes are coming out, new maps in operations, etc. The best thing is that in multiplayer, all items in the store are strictly customizable. There is no P2W in this game, but there is a decent amount of donation (chrome skins from eSports, etc.), but in the store itself you can buy all the characters from the series, even Locusts, for the in-game money. For fans of Gears multiplayer, this is the best choice. I recommend it.
