Gimbal is a top-down multiplayer shooter in which players build flying vehicles and fight in real time. Before taking off, pilots can customize weapons, engines, and gadgets, tailoring each craft for power, speed, durability, handling, and awareness.

The game features several modes, including Battlegroup, Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, and Racing.
