This mod is an early rebalance of mage spells in Gothic 1 Remake. It focuses on improving and adjusting the effectiveness of magic, including standard, chargeable, and area-of-effect spells. The project is actively being developed, so frequent updates and balance changes are expected.

Features:

  • Individual damage rebalance for each spell;
  • Supports damage multipliers or custom values for every magic circle;
  • Compatible with chargeable spells at all charge levels;
  • Supports area-of-effect spells;
  • Optional adjustment of additional parameters such as AoE radius;
  • Runtime-only implementation with no game files modified;
  • Safe for existing saves;
  • All changes are reverted when the game is closed;

  • Simple and easy-to-edit configuration system;
  • Fire Rain buffed by 150% with a larger area of effect;
  • Fireball damage increased by 100% at all charge levels;
  • Ice Arrow buffed to match Firebolt effectiveness;
  • Death Breath damage increased by 100%;
  • Pyrokinesis damage increased by 150%;
  • Firebolt and Ball Lightning remain unchanged.

Installation:

  • Download the archive;
  • Extract the contents to: \G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods.
