This mod disables several demanding Unreal Engine 5 technologies to significantly boost performance. Specifically, it turns off dynamic shadows, advanced lighting (Lumen), RayTracing, and Nanite. The main goal is to allow the game to run smoothly on low-end PCs that fall below the official minimum requirements.
Main Features:
- Disables Shadows, Lumen, RayTracing, and Nanite entirely.
- Significantly increases FPS and overall performance on low-end PCs.
- Makes interiors brighter (especially when looking inside huts from the outside).
- Lowers the overall visual quality by removing the aforementioned dynamic lighting and shadow effects.
Installation Instructions:
- Download and extract the main archive.
- Option 1: Copy the provided engine.ini file directly into:
%localappdata%\G1R\Saved\Config\Windows\ - Option 2: Open the mod's file and copy individual lines into your existing engine.ini manually (make sure to place them under the appropriate [header] sections). This allows you to safely combine it with other performance tweaks.
