Reimagining the original Haunted House (1981), released in 1981 and considered one of the first survival horror games. The main character is the niece of a treasure hunter — Lyn Graves. One day, she and her friends visit her uncle's mansion. However, there she encounters monsters and ghosts that kidnap her companions. To rescue them, she must find the broken pieces of a magical urn and put them together.

The game uses procedural location generation. Additionally, walls in the rooms can move, making it impossible to memorize the surroundings. Other features include stealth mechanics, the ability to unlock additional characters, and numerous Easter eggs referencing the original.
