A customizable weapon HUD mod for How to Fish that displays current magazine ammo, weapon names, equipped attachments, and an optional StatTrak kill counter.
StatTrak Functionality:
- StatTrak tracking is optional. When enabled, the host records each player's kill count in the world save and syncs it back to the corresponding player. Using StatTrak requires both AmmoCounter and HowtoFishIdentityAPI installed on the host and client. When disabled, the HUD operates entirely client-side without saving or transmitting network data.
Main Features:
- Ammo Display: Shows remaining bullets in the loaded magazine and displays ∞ for reserve ammo.
- Color-Coded Status: Distinct color indicators for normal, low, and critically low ammo levels.
- Visual Alerts: Configurable flashing animation when down to the last bullet or on an empty magazine.
- Attachment HUD: Visual indicators for installed sights, barrels, laser sights, and extended magazines.
- StatTrak Counter: Tracks and displays confirmed kills scored with the currently held weapon.
Deep UI Customization:
- Reposition and scale the HUD anywhere on screen.
- Adjust attachment icon dimensions, opacity, and custom colors.
- Toggle display visibility for weapon names and the StatTrak readout.
- Automatically hide the HUD while aiming down sights.
Installation:
- Ensure BepInEx 5 (x64) is installed.
- (Optional) Install HowtoFishIdentityAPI if you plan to use StatTrak .
- Place AmmoCounter.dll into: How to Fish/BepInEx/plugins/
- Launch the game.
