The game takes place in cursed lands, where reality is distorted and dangerous creatures roam in the darkness. Players need to explore the Rutherford Ranch (from ghostly forests and an abandoned town to infected bunkers), collect resources, craft equipment, upgrade the camp and restore outposts.
The dynamic change of day and night affects the gameplay: during the day it is more convenient to explore the world and prepare, and at night the enemies become stronger and the danger increases. Stealth mechanics are based on sound - enemies can be both avoided and lured into traps. Visually, the game combines the atmosphere of the 80s with the style of a comic book.
