Just Cause 4

Just Cause 4 is a continuation of a series of dynamic action games in an open world with a third-person view. This time the main character will find himself in a place called Solis in South America with an important mission - to deal with his sworn enemies and find out who his father was.

A single-player third-person shooter in a huge open world, Just Cause 4 with action and driving elements was developed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and was released on December 4, 2018. The game is a classic sandbox, all the contents of which are intended to entertain the player.

For the new game in the series, Avalanche studio made a new Apex engine. It produces high-quality graphics with a powerful particle system, an abundance of visual effects and a realistic physical model. Due to this, natural phenomena (tornadoes, blizzards and sandstorms) are similar to real ones and affect the gameplay.

The action of Just Cause 4 develops in Solis - a fictional country in South America, occupied by the forces of the private military company "Black Hand", the strongest and coolest on the planet. Mercenaries have appeared in previous parts of the series, but for the first time the player will visit their base and headquarters.

Solis is divided into four regions, each with its own type of terrain, natural conditions, animals and types of enemies. Due to this, the gameplay changes significantly - a hot desert, humid jungle or mountainous snowy terrain requires you to develop a suitable play style.

Also, each biome has its own system of weather and extreme weather conditions, for example, sandstorms occur in the sands, blizzards occur in the mountains, and tornadoes shake the agricultural plain.

Rico Rodriguez, the permanent hero of the series, is back! This time he has become even cooler and even more dangerous, since he is equipped with a grappling hook, a wingsuit, a parachute, and can control all cars, motor boats and airplanes.

In addition to direct shooting, each weapon has an alternative mode to which abilities are attached, such as explosive cartridges or a guided missile, as well as gadgets akin to launching a drone.

The events of the new game develop several years after the ending of Just Cause 3. CIA special agent Rico must eliminate the threat posed by the Black Hand, as well as destroy its leader, Gabriela Morales.

His opponents are elite, highly trained soldiers, equipped with advanced weapons, protective shields and even energy fields. For Gabriela, Rico is a sworn enemy, since he is responsible for the death of her mother.
