This top-down tactical shooter is set during the Vietnam War. After a helicopter is shot down in Viet Cong territory, its squad must escape the hostile region and liberate civilians. The player commands up to four soldiers, switches between squad members, issues orders, and accesses the map and inventory.
Across 20 missions, the squad rescues prisoners of war and civilians, hunts Viet Cong forces, and fights soldiers, tanks, turrets, and enemy barracks. Each soldier has distinct specialties and weapons, including long-range rifles, grenade launchers, and automatic weapons. Mines and other traps lie along the way, while smoke and fragmentation grenades support combat; barrels and crates in the environment can be destroyed.
