Starting from patch 0.1.2, the developers added dynamic rendering of Cyrillic characters to the game, so no additional font patches are needed for proper text display. All previous versions of the language pack are combined into one small archive that works on all supported platforms.
Installation Instructions:
- Open the folder with the installed game depending on your platform:
Windows: in the Steam library, right-click on Paralives → Manage → Browse local files.
macOS: navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Paralives/
Steam Deck: navigate to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Paralives/ - Extract the contents of the downloaded archive into this folder, replacing files (the Main.mod folder will appear or be updated in the directory).
- Launch the game, go to Settings → Language and select "Russian".
Some users (especially if the game is not installed on the system drive C) may encounter an issue with switching localization: after selecting the Russian language, nothing changes, and upon restarting, the game fails to load correctly. This happens because the game cannot overwrite the configuration file.
How to fix it:
- Make sure the game is completely closed.
- Download a special fix from this page.
- Place it in the root folder of the game and run it — the utility will forcibly set the Russian language in the settings, after which the game will launch correctly.
Начиная с патча 0.1.2 разработчики добавили в игру динамическую отрисовку кириллицы, поэтому для корректного отображения текста больше не нужно устанавливать дополнительные патчи шрифтов. Все прошлые версии русификатора объединены в один небольшой архив, который работает на всех поддерживаемых платформах.
Инструкция по установке:
- Откройте папку с установленной игрой в зависимости от вашей платформы:
Windows: в библиотеке Steam нажмите правой кнопкой мыши на Paralives → Управление → Просмотреть локальные файлы.
macOS: перейдите по пути ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Paralives/
Steam Deck: перейдите по пути ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Paralives/ - Распакуйте содержимое скачанного архива в эту папку с заменой файлов (в директории появится или обновится папка Main.mod).
- Запустите игру, перейдите в Настройки → Язык и выберите «Русский».
У некоторых пользователей (особенно если игра установлена не на системном диске C) может возникнуть проблема с переключением локализации: после выбора русского языка ничего не меняется, а при перезапуске игра перестает корректно загружаться. Это происходит из-за того, что игра не может перезаписать файл конфигурации.
Как исправить:
- Убедитесь, что игра полностью закрыта.
- Скачайте специальный фикс с этой страницы.
- Поместите его в корневую папку игры и запустите — утилита принудительно пропишет русский язык в настройках, после чего игра будет запускаться корректно.
