There are two distribution options for the localization tool:

  • First option — installer. It is significantly smaller in size and should be more resilient to updates. This means that if a patch for the game is released that breaks the localization tool (which is likely to break not the tool itself, but the fonts), you can simply reinstall the localization tool using the installer without waiting for the author to release an update.
  • Second option — archive. It is larger, but suitable for both Windows users and those on SteamDeck, as well as for those who prefer (or are hesitant) to use installers.

Installation instructions:Option 1: Installer:

  • The installer is interactive and extremely straightforward, with all instructions included within it.

Option 2: Archive:

  1. Open the game folder. To do this in Steam, go to: Library → Paralives → Right-click → Manage → Browse local files.
  2. Extract the contents of this archive into the opened folder (replacing existing files).
  3. Launch the game. Navigate to: Settings → Language → Select "Russian".

Русификатор

Доступны два варианта распространения русификатора:

  • Первый вариант — установщик. Весит во много раз меньше и должен быть более устойчив к обновлениям. То есть если выйдет патч для игры, который сломает русификатор (а сломает, скорее всего, не сам русификатор, а шрифты), то можно будет просто по-новой установить русификатор с установщика и не ждать, пока автор выпустит обновление.
  • Второй вариант — архив. Весит больше, но подойдёт как для пользователей Windows, так и для пользователей на SteamDeck, и тех, кто не хочет (или боится) использовать установщики.

Инструкция по установке:Вариант 1: Установщик:

  • Установщик интерактивный и предельно понятный, все инструкции находятся внутри него.

Вариант 2: Архив:

  1. Откройте папку с игрой. Для этого в Steam перейдите в: Библиотека → Paralives → Нажмите ПКМ → Управление → Просмотреть локальные файлы.
  2. Распакуйте содержимое этого архива в открывшуюся папку (с заменой существующих файлов).
  3. Запустите игру. Перейдите по пути: Настройки (Settings) → Язык (Language) → Выберите «Русский».
