The sixth home gaming platform from Nintendo, formally classified as part of the 8th generation of gaming systems. It has been available in the Russian market since December 21, 2012. As of December 31, 2012, Wii U sales reached 3.06 million units worldwide. It features a controller with a 6.2-inch touchscreen without multitouch. Wii U also supports all controllers from Nintendo Wii. The best games for Wii U include Mass Effect 3, Darksiders 2, New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, Assassin’s Creed 3, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and ZombiU. Wii U has only recently begun to gain popularity among gamers.
