Games for PlayStation 3
The third gaming platform from Sony (not counting the PSP), belonging to the 7th generation of gaming systems and currently part of the "big three" alongside Windows PC and Microsoft Xbox 360. As of January 2013, PlayStation 3 sales exceeded 77 million units worldwide. It is known as the most "closed" hardware platform in history, which took 4 years to fully hack. It exists in four different variations (Premium, Core, Slim, Super Slim). The game rating for PlayStation 3 shows that the console is still in good demand today. The best of the best games for PlayStation 3 became Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The successor to the console will be PlayStation 4.
