An adventure role-playing action game based on the fantasy novel series "The Bird That Drinks Tears." The events of the game take place 1500 years before the events of the author's novels, Lee Yong-do. The protagonist is Rekon, a representative of a race of nomadic bird-warriors known for their immense physical strength. Rekons are humanoid birds about 2 meters tall, armed with two swords.
The world is based on a Korean fantasy series that is radically different from classic Western fantasy. The universe is inhabited by four races: humans, powerful bird-like Rekons, fire-wielding Tokkebi, and reptilian Nhaga, who sacrifice hearts for immortality. Conflicts are not divided into heroic and villainous — the world is ancient, immersed in wars with conflicting motives from each side. This is a dark, tragic, and deeply human narrative focused on the politics and cultural differences of the races.
The player chooses their own path, explores hidden stories, forges alliances, or ignites wars. Each journey should be personal and authentic, full of unexpected moments. In addition to large-scale battles, the trailer showcased bosses with unique attack patterns that require a tactical approach.
