Resident Evil (2002) — third-person horror game with puzzle elements. The game is distinguished by its photorealistic environment. The game features new graphics and great sound, and features gameplay elements from later versions. Additionally, a new running style is introduced, which is also used in Resident Evil Zero, and several new locations have been added to the game (some of which were originally cut from the 1996 game during its development, such as the "graveyard" and "path to forest").
