Rustmourne

A sci-fi horror survival game for virtual reality devices. The action takes place inside an ancient abandoned megastructure, where deformed creatures roam the corridors. The main character tries to understand the reason for his awakening and find a way out.

Survival is based on stealth, attentiveness, and the proper use of the environment. Noise can attract dangerous creatures or, on the contrary, help to open a path forward. In some situations, the only option is to hide or run away, but you can also fight against opponents.

The feature of the combat system is the dismemberment of enemies. Severing limbs can slow down, blind, or immobilize the opponent, but each attack can affect their behavior and lead to unexpected consequences. Inspired by the design of creatures from Dead Space, Rustmourne makes such encounters particularly tense, especially in VR.
