Sigma Star Saga DX

Updated and expanded version of Sigma Star Saga from 2005. The game combines side-scrolling battles with top-down planet exploration. The player takes on the role of Federation pilot Ian Recker, who infiltrates the Krill Empire, balancing between two sides of the conflict and trying to save humanity.

The game offers exploration of six unique planets, dynamic space battles, and flexible ship customization with dozens of weapon modules, allowing for thousands of combinations. Features include various gadgets and abilities, large-scale boss battles, pixel art graphics, and a branching storyline with multiple endings. The DX version additionally includes an improved map, reduced random encounters, a revamped progression system, updated dialogues, and a number of technical enhancements.
