The new edition of Terranigma retains the foundation of the classic RPG, bringing its adventure of Earth's rebirth to modern players. At the center of the story is Ark, a boy from an underground village who accidentally opened a forbidden door, condemning its inhabitants to disappear. To correct his mistake, he ventures to the surface and begins a journey that will determine the fate of the entire world.
Ark's task goes far beyond saving his native village. He must revive the Earth by sequentially bringing back to life continents, plants, and animals, and then humanity. As the planet is restored, civilization also develops, and the journey transforms into a grand tale of the birth and evolution of the world.
