The Backrooms 1998

A psychological horror game from the first person, styled as a found videotape. The story tells about a teenager who accidentally finds himself in the endless maze of the Backrooms in 1998, where every mistake can cost a life. Exploration gradually reveals the secrets of this mysterious place, but its dark corridors hide something that constantly watches every step.

During the gameplay, you need to search for supplies, tools, and useful items that help you not get lost and get closer to salvation. Any noise can attract the attention of an unknown creature: screams, the sound of broken glass, or accidentally knocked-over objects can reveal the hero's location. To survive, you will have to use your strength sparingly, carefully study the surroundings, and hide in narrow passages, under tables, or inside lockers when danger passes.
