The Deed: Dynasty

A standalone story expansion for the game The Deed, developing its main concept. The player will still have to commit a murder, carefully plan their actions, plant evidence, and convince the authorities of their innocence by shifting the blame onto another character, but this time the events unfold in three different historical eras.

The game offers three scenarios, each of which transports the player to a separate time period and reveals the dark past of the Bruce family. During the gameplay, it is necessary to explore the surroundings, interact with characters, choose the method of murder and the weapon appropriate to the era, as well as logically build a chain of evidence. The revamped dialogue system provides more freedom of choice and influences the course of the investigation and its outcome.

As in the original game, every decision has consequences and can lead to one of many possible endings. The gameplay emphasizes analysis, attentiveness, and understanding of the logic of events, while the harsher historical realities heighten the tension, reminding of the high cost of mistakes.
