After a failed investigation, former detective Edward Walker goes to a secluded retreat, hoping to find peace and restore his mental balance. The inhabitants of The Pines seem friendly and open, but each of them has their own secrets, traumas, and hidden motives. As Edward explores the territory of the retreat, interacts with its residents, and makes decisions that influence the unfolding events, he delves deeper into a tangled conspiracy. As the truth is revealed, he must fight not only for his life but also for the preservation of his sanity.
