Yule (Karachun in the Slavic way) is the second Saturday in the wheel of the year, after Samhain, a mid-winter holiday among the Germanic peoples. As a rule, its celebration takes place on the night of the winter solstice, namely the longest night of the year. Celebrated since ancient times, this holiday marks a turning point in the year.
