WolfPack

A naval simulator about clashes between German submarine wolfpacks and Allied convoys during the Battle of the Atlantic in World War II. The player can command either the submarines or the convoy, while the computer controls the opposing side. Individual vessels, including tankers and freighters, can be taken under direct control at any time, or assigned independent behavior and orders.

Missions can be handled tactically, with control of a single submarine, or through orders issued to the entire group, such as setting patrol routes and anchoring points. A mission editor allows the starting positions, orders, and routes of both sides to be configured. The simulation runs in real time and can be sped up; as the war progresses, new submarine classes and detection and anti-submarine technologies become available, including radar, active sonar, and Hedgehog weapons.
