The new installment of the annual wrestling simulation series from 2K offers updated gameplay, an expanded roster, and many refined modes. The game features over 400 superstars and legends of WWE — from representatives of the Attitude Era to modern wrestlers, including The Rock, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, and other famous fighters.

The 2K Showcase mode is dedicated to CM Punk's career and allows players to relive key moments of his journey, as well as alternative scenarios. Among the innovations are additional match types, including I Quit, Inferno, and Dumpster, new arenas, and updated interactions with the audience and commentators.

The Universe mode has received a WWE Draft system and expanded tools for managing shows and storyline rivalries. MyRise offers two storylines with character role choices that affect the development of the story. In MyGM, management capabilities have been expanded, and intergender matches with a larger number of participants have been added.
