The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is still set for 2026 — but Nintendo hasn't named a date
Nintendo listed every announced Nintendo Switch 2 project in its latest earnings report and gave them release windows. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, which the company recently devoted a Direct to, arrives on September 17, while Switch Sports Resort follows on October 22. The The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is on the list too — except that instead of a specific date, it simply says "2026."

Nintendo Announces Xenoblade Genesis for Switch 2, Debut Trailer Released
During the June Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo and Monolith Soft officially unveiled Xenoblade Genesis, the next entry in the beloved JRPG franchise. The game is set to launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
