A brand-new update (1.003.202) has been released for Helldivers 2, bringing a range of fixes and improvements. The developers have addressed several crash causes, including issues related to weapon customization, disappearing enemies, and deaths caused by explosions.
In addition, the accuracy of the PLAS-45 EPOCH plasma weapon has been significantly improved, with its spread reduced by 75%, and the heat display for the laser turret has been fixed. Bugs related to the LIFT-182 Warp Pack have also been resolved, including incorrect first-person visual effects and issues when exiting vehicles.
The update also fixes a bug that prevented the AR-32 PACIFIER from firing immediately after reloading, and improves enemy navigation in urban areas. Developers have addressed problems with inaccessible DLC and Warbond items, fixed some emote animations, and added a sound effect for Manic Laughter aboard the ship.
The update is already available on PS5 and PC, and the game itself is set to launch on Xbox Series X/S on August 26, which should further expand its audience.
