Red Dead Redemption Graphics Comparison: Android vs. Nintendo Switch 2
Vladislav Nikolaev
YouTuber Cycu1 has released a video putting Red Dead Redemption's graphics head-to-head on Android and Nintendo Switch 2. For the mobile comparison, the game was running on a Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone.
Both versions launched in December. They each include the base game, the Undead Nightmare expansion, and bonuses from the GOTY Edition. The mobile port is available on Google Play and the App Store for $40, though Netflix subscribers can download it for free. The Nintendo Switch 2 console version is out on the eShop, running at a smooth 60 FPS and supporting HDR, NVIDIA DLSS, and mouse controls. Owners of the digital version for the original Nintendo Switch can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free.
Previously, Cycu1 compared the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Red Dead Redemption.
In other news, test animations for GTA 6 were recently discovered in the portfolio of former Rockstar animator Benjamin Chue. Prior to that, Dan Houser, a co-founder of Rockstar and key developer behind GTA and Red Dead Redemption, discussed the reasons for his departure from the studio.
