Publisher Limited Run Games has announced that the Fighting Force Collection, which includes both games in the series (Fighting Force and Fighting Force 2), is set to launch later this month.

Fighting Force Collection marks the return of the classic PlayStation 1-era action series, known for its fast-paced hand-to-hand combat, use of improvised weapons, and destructible environments.

The original Fighting Force, released in 1997, is a 3D beat 'em up where players can choose from four unique characters, each with their own fighting style and abilities. The game can be played solo or in co-op mode. It emphasizes interactive environments, a wide range of moves, and a diverse arsenal—from melee weapons to heavy firearms—across multiple levels and scenarios, all tied together by a storyline centered on a showdown with the main antagonist.

Fighting Force 2, released in 1999, shifts the focus toward more cinematic action and a linear narrative. Players take on the role of Hawk Manson, undertaking a covert mission inside high-tech corporate facilities involved in cloning experiments. The sequel features more detailed locations, improved visual effects, an enhanced melee combat system with combo attacks, and an expanded arsenal that lets players interact with the environment and take down enemies in various ways.

Fighting Force Collection launches on January 23 for PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Previously, Limited Run Games also unveiled a collector’s edition for the Fighting Force Collection.
