Archon Quest Walkthroughs in Genshin Impact: Act 2, Chapter 4. Requiem of the Echoing Depths

With the update Genshin Impact 2.6, a new location and several world quests related to the Archon Quest Requiem of the Echoing Depths were added to the game. In this guide, we will tell you how to access the Chasm region and complete the storyline quests.

To unlock this quest, you need to complete the Archon Quest series Omnipresent God, Mortal World: Volume 2, Chapter 3. Also, you will need to complete several mandatory quests before performing this quest.

Open the event menu or task log and select the item Requiem of the Echoing Depths. Head to Liyue and talk to Katheryne at the Adventurers' Guild. This will start the quest Unexpected Encounter in the Depths.

Katheryne will direct you to the Chasm. If you haven't unlocked this area yet, teleport to the nearest fast travel point and reach the Glaze Cliff.

Talk to Yue Hui to complete the quest. You will receive a new world quest The Secret of the Qixing Rocky Gates.

Not far from the previous character, you will find a special representative for civil affairs — Mu Ning. He will send you to another adventurer.

After talking to her, run to the miner's warehouse and pick up the Luminous Stone. It will appear after defeating a group of treasure hoarders.

Return to Zhi Qiong and tell her what happened. She will ask you to find a way to destroy the rocky gates.

Climb to the elevation and approach the cluster of rocks. They are inactive now. To charge them, find and destroy the glowing stones nearby. Now you can interact with the cluster of rocks.

When you do this, you will receive a map of the rocky gates' locations. You need to get rid of three such objects in the same way:

Fuao Gorge

Head to the marked point on the map and descend into the quarry. Find the passage to Fuao Gorge here.

Inspect the cave for glowing stones and use them to charge the rocky gate cluster.

Here you can also find a fairy, a Geovishap, slimes, and open several common chests.

Cinnabar Cliff

This chasm can also be closed with the help of four stone clusters. However, you will have to activate them sequentially. Since the stones are at different heights, first interact with the topmost stone, then the middle one, and finally the bottom one.

Glaze Cliff

When you arrive at the marked point, you will encounter a group of treasure hoarders. In the shed, you will see one of the three stone clusters, but it is pointless to activate them now. Climb higher and find two more similar clusters.

After opening the three gates, return to the adventurer and get the coordinates of the last one. It is located near the Geo Archon statue on the opposite side of the Chasm.

Once in the cave with the gate, you will be attacked by two Geovishaps. If you manage to destroy the gate, you can avoid fighting them.

Head to the entrance of the Chasm and activate the lift. You will find yourself in the new area Chasm: Underground Mines. While reaching the marked location, be sure to collect Luminous Crystals. With their help, you can upgrade the Lumenstone Adjuvant device. This is done at Jin Wu.

Where to Find Clues and How to Find Uncle He

Clues are scattered around the cave in the form of notes. They can be found in three places where there is a concentration of treasure hoarders.

When you do this, you will gain access to the Geo Exploration Team's camp. Follow the cave forward and climb to the elevation. Here you will meet Jin Wu again. After talking to her, part of the region map will open.

Talk to the girl again. She will give two small tasks.

First Encounter with Miasma

Reach the marked spot on the map and take a photo (the interface will open automatically). Kill several Abyss Mages and complete the task.

Making Friends and Defeating Bandits

Reach the location and get rid of several treasure hoarders. Open the cage to free Clitopho. Deal with another gang to the east of the location and inspect the cannon. To charge it and open the passage deeper into the cave, you need to follow the road and find the grate behind which the ammunition depot is located. You can open it using two keys.

Return to the Geo Exploration Team camp and complete the quest.

Talk to Jin Wu and take the task. From this moment on, two places will appear on the map that you need to visit and find the keys to the gunpowder depot.

Reach the first point and get rid of the jar standing on the barrel. You will get the first key. Inspect the second location and blow up the yellow barrel.

Use the keys to open the depot, fight two Geo Slimes, and open the chest. Take the obtained projectile to the camp and talk to Clitopho. He will ask you to create three special Essence of Stillness. This can be done using alchemy. Gather the ingredients:

Teleport to the fuse and read the instructions. You need to activate three steles in the following order: lower (frequent flickering), two upper (rare flickering). Set the cannon in a level position and shoot at the blockage.

Follow the cave forward, open several chests, and activate three mechanisms. To do this, collect the scattered energy clusters around the location, approach the cluster of dark liquid, and press the Z button with the active Lumenstone Adjuvant. First, you need to upgrade the device to level 2.

After doing this, fight several monsters and descend deeper into the mine. Here you will meet Dainsleif. Now you can proceed to the Requiem of the Echoing Depths quest line.

Grave of the Guarded

Once in the Stone Halls, proceed to the marked area and talk to Dainsleif again. Climb up the cave and destroy several groups of enemies. Follow the fairy and find two infected Hilichurls here.

Continue climbing higher until you meet the man again and find yourself in the Hilichurl camp.

Memories of Intivat

Leave the cave and fight a strong enemy. After that, return to the fast travel point and climb up the broken columns. In the room, you will find a portal that will take you directly to your destination.

Here you will face a battle with an Abyss Lector. After defeating him, inspect the area and find four energy supply mechanisms. Kill all the enemies and destroy the mechanisms. If you cannot return to the central platform, touch the portal after the mechanism is destroyed.
