Assassin's Creed Shadows: How to Get the Legendary Secret Mount

In late feudal Japan, where the events of Assassin's Creed Shadows unfold, people believed in many myths. Among them is the belief in Onamazu, a giant catfish dwelling in the depths of the waters and considered the cause of frequent earthquakes. The developers of the legendary franchise have brought this image into the game world as an exclusive mount, and below we will show you where to find it.

You can obtain the mount's appearance at the very beginning of the game. It's best to do this while completing the side quest of the Iron Hand Guild "Missing Ship." Start your search from the largest island, Okishima, in Lake Biwa, located in the Omi region. The nearest vantage point is the view of Okishima.

Find a small fishing village in the center of the island, and in it, the rightmost house closest to the sea. Once at the shore, turn left and walk to the bonfire, where you may encounter enemies that you might want to eliminate, but it's not necessary; the choice is yours.

Then, dive underwater from the bonfire and face the bonfire to see an underwater cave. Swim through the tunnel to the end and retrieve the reward from the chest at the very bottom. You can also surface there to replenish your air supply. Afterward, return to land the same way you came.

To change the appearance of the mount, go to the appropriate section in the inventory and select the desired look. The appearance for the horse is purely cosmetic. Animations and movement speed remain the same. However, this version does have unique whisker physics for the horse.
